Synopsis:

Darren is one of the founders of The Orange Partnership.  Pragmatic, passionate and down to earth he has huge experience of advising and developing procurement and contracting functions for major construction projects using his accounting skills and commercial nous.

He has extensive construction experience working on Mega Construction Projects (£1bn+) and has worked with many forms of contract, including many large partnering arrangements.

He has excellent client relationship skills and excels at understanding complex commercial problems and developing cost effective audit scopes to resolve issues through simple and effective reviews.

His collaboration with Heathrow has spanned over 15 years including 5 years as head of supply chain commercial with key deliverables having been assessed independently as “best in class”.

At the T5 programme he was responsible for setting up and renegotiating nearly 50 open book contracts across the entire project supply chain, worth £4bn.  In 2013, The Orange Partnership was successful in winning the Forensic Cost Assurance framework for Heathrow Airport.

Darren is able to demonstrate a track record of real added value working with many clients including Transport for London, BG, Southern Water, Thames Water, Scottish Water and Severn Trent Water.

Personal Passions:

A lifelong fan of Luton Town FC Darren obviously has a great sense of humour after spending his hard earned money buying season tickets for the last 25 years.
